THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS AND COLLECTION OF FACTS PRESENTED ARE MY OPINIONS.
Just a little about all of this section. I have been since 1998 fighting the corruption in the Town of Corinth.
It started with the Youth Center that Louise Carney (Appointed head of youth services Town of Corinth) and the Good Old boys were trying to push down the taxpayer’s throat.  Well I succeeded in getting that defeated in the election. For people that do not remember this is the building that is now the YMCA.

Then there was the passing of the Zoning Laws.

Now that was a piece of work. It was discussed at the 4 pm meeting 25th day of March – this is according to Town Board the bill paying meeting. Well I was truly disgusted with what went on at this meeting. Everything was passed. Then at the end of the meeting Jeff Sandwick (Just a member of a family in Town) stood up and commended the board for passing Zoning. He said he was going right home and calls his Dad and tell him.
Then the next thing that appalled me was the doing away with the elected assessor. It amazes me on this one. Apparently the Town attorney Hafner doesn’t know to much. (Here is why I say this About Hafner.I have conferred with the Department of State about Mr. Hafner and he assumes he works for the Town Board. So I assume the Town Board is paying his salary and not the Taxpayers. He is responsible to the Taxpayers not the Town Board). This is because the law they said they could use was wrong. There was no such Law. Until in August of 2006 Betty Little (Betty Little State Senator) and Theresa Sayward (Assembly women) rushed an amendment through to cover this oversight. Now that is what I call covering your asses. I know this because I had a meeting with Sayward in Lake Luzerne. I personally along with a witness confronted her about this which I feel made her an accomplice to the crime. So she run right to Albany and passes the amendment. Now there is some piece of work for you.
Now we come to the Towns Gravel pit which is located on Miner Rd. The town bought this pit for
$70,000 in 1988.  The Highway Superintendent Harry Plummer decided he was going to sell fill out of there. Well now this is against the law.  Now we finally succeeded in getting them to stop selling and giving it away. As far as I know right now the town of Day owes us approximately $85,000.00 for sand that was taken by them, the contractors I feel should be required to reimburse the taxpayers what is still due.
I know you are probably wondering about the Shared Services program. Well that is debatable. Town taxpayers are taken advantage of with this program. And it isn’t run and kept track of as the law requires. So certain Town taxpayers lose money. Ok enough of this.

Then we get to the railroad that the town taxpayers now own. Why would anybody allow our town to buy 16 miles of railroad tracks? This is what I am  trying to figure out. I do know there were a lot of crooked deals during this. Because it is the responsibility of the State Comptrollers office to oversee and make sure this contract does not cause a hardship on taxpayers of the community. Well that is what has happened. We pay property and school taxes to Saratoga Springs and Greenfield. The track through these to municipalities is roughly $412, 786 assessment. That is just taxes. Now we come to liability insurance. That is astronomical in price. So don’t be surprised at your taxes this year coming up.
Here was an Article in the Post Star concerning the Railroad. My question here is why Saratoga County is all of a sudden involved with this.

Railroad pdf is contract received from the State Comptrollers Office
Corinth Railroad is Contract received from Town Clerk
Just for information there was 20 pages difference.
Also have a lot more I am scanning for burning on disk so as to archive it for future use.
As far as Land Moratoria is this is just information I put in front of Town Board to question there decisions on amending Zoning laws for the burning of trash. Well that worked. As far as eminent domain this is just information on it and how the Village spent $75,000.00 in legal fees to find out they couldn’t win. There goes your tax money.
Railroad washout is and article that was in the Gazette. Don’t worry it only cost us approximately $200,000.00 to fix. Now don’t worry I was lied to about this matter too. Info in town minutes about this (minutes of 09/28/2006, 11/16/2006 and 05/25/2006). Dick Lucia  informed me that the Town hasn’t taken over control of railroad yet. Well he didn’t know I already knew that me as a Town owned it. According to the purchase contracts. This just goes to show you how ignorant your Town Government really is.
The Depot pdf is me informing the State that there was going to be misuse of this grant. And also following through with it.
Greenfield RR pdf just a letter from State about the laws. Being twisted to there advantage.
NYS open Meeting is the Law concerning how open meetings are to be conducted.
Eminent Domain just is the law and procedure for taking of land by the Government.
I have a lot more that I am working on so if there is a question about anything or where you can research any of this feel free to ask. I am really appalled by all the back room politics that goes on in our little town.
